TIGEREYE Officially Launches Clinician-Supervised “Stress Checker AI Avatar 2.0”

~ Mental health support enabled by face recognition, emotion AI, and generative avatars ~

July 2025, Tokyo — TIGEREYE Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Gaku Kamimura; hereinafter "TIGEREYE"), which develops multimodal AI technologies combining computer vision and generative AI, has launched “Stress Checker AI Avatar 2.0,” which integrates face recognition, emotion analysis, and a doctor-supervised dialogue flow.

Face Recognition × Emotion Analysis × AI Avatar × Doctor Supervision

This solution analyzes facial expression data in real time during clock-in and clock-out, quantifies and visualizes stress levels, and automatically activates an AI avatar only when needed to gently engage the user. This enables a low-friction stress check and natural introduction of care.

Administrators can also request a stress check at any time via email or QR code, enabling flexible use for remote work, breaks, and other work styles.

Key Features

  • Face-recognition-linked stress check: Analyzes facial expressions during attendance stamping
  • Avatar launches only when needed: AI provides natural prompts based on stress level
  • Flexible requests from administrators: Invite via email or QR code at any time
  • Doctor-supervised dialogue design: Up to 100 questions + free dialogue + compliant with MHLW 57 items
  • Stress trend visualization and automated reports: Weekly/monthly notifications to administrators
  • Generative AI relaxation suggestions: Guided meditation, breathing exercises, and rest tips via voice

Use Cases

  • Integrate with attendance systems: Visualize stress at face recognition and start dialogue when needed
  • Remote work & individual care: Enable stress checks via QR code or email
  • Education and healthcare settings: AI avatars support students and patients with reassurance
  • Health management & occupational physician support: Early intervention with auto-reports and high-stress detection

Doctors' Comments

"In medical settings, subtle and unnoticed stress often underlies a vague sense of unwellness. By visualizing it through dialogue and emotion, AI can contribute to preventive medicine."

Chairman, Oozora-kai Medical Corporation Tomohiro Suzuki, MD(Psychiatry & Internal Medicine)

"AI captures emotional fluctuations and responds in a human way. This is a new form of healthcare that supports brain and mental well-being."

Director, Tsubasa Clinic Sagamihara Hidehiko Shoji, MD(Neurosurgery)

Future Outlook

TIGEREYE is deploying this solution in collaboration with Tsubasa Clinic. Working jointly with the clinic, we will develop AI/DX solutions that combine on-site feedback and technology to improve operational efficiency for clinics and hospitals. We plan to offer AI call centers, AI counseling, and AI intake interviews, along with integrations for medical records and reservations. This initiative will be a core element of hospital-focused AI/DX solutions that continue to evolve through real-world deployments and demonstrations.
