(Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Tadashi Inoue, hereinafter "Solare Hotels"). This implementation enhances security by ensuring that only female guests can enter while also improving convenience by eliminating the need for a dedicated access card, leading to increased cost efficiency.
Background of the Implementation
Solare Hotels aimed to enhance convenience, security, and cost efficiency for guests during their stay while also differentiating its services using AI technology. Meanwhile, TIGEREYE sought to expand the application of its solutions within premium services, including hotels. Through this initiative, TIGEREYE's "KAOPASS Key & Entry/Exit" was introduced and recognized for its cloud-based functionality, which provides greater convenience and cost-saving benefits compared to conventional face recognition systems.

"KAOPASS Key & Entry/Exit" is part of TIGEREYE's KAOPASS product family and enables seamless door unlocking using only face recognition integrated with electronic locks. The system allows hotels, offices, and residential buildings to manage entry and exit without the need for cards, dedicated devices, or specific apps.
Future Prospects
Solare Hotels plans to expand this system across its 47 hotels nationwide and is also considering the integration of face recognition technology into its front desk systems for further operational enhancement.
