While facial recognition is being adopted across a wide range of applications such as access control, identity verification, and attendance management, operational issues have also become apparent, including spoofing through photos and videos, false matches between people with similar facial features, and variations in recognition accuracy depending on the usage environment.
While many solutions focus on improving recognition accuracy, TIGEREYE views false recognition not merely as an accuracy issue but as a design issue. Based on that view, we redesigned authentication from the ground up on the premise of structurally preventing false recognition.

New Release: One-to-One Authentication
With conventional one-to-many authentication, there was a risk that even when person A was the actual user, the system could mistakenly authenticate and log the user as person B if the two had highly similar facial features, such as twins. One-to-one authentication prevents such false recognition caused by incorrect identity judgment.
This function compares the facial image captured at authentication with the facial data identified in the system as the person in question, and completes authentication only when the corresponding personal ID is confirmed within that data. This helps prevent false authentication under another person's ID when facial features are similar and delivers a higher level of identity verification accuracy.
Support for Combined Authentication | Flexible Design Tailored to Operations
In this version, facial recognition can also be combined as an option with vein authentication, IC card authentication, and other methods. This enables flexible authentication design based on the risk level of each facility or business operation.
