— New co-creation in the insurance industry, supported by AI and face recognition —
TIGEREYE Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Gaku Kamimura; hereinafter “TIGEREYE”), which tackles social issues with AI and face recognition technology at its core, announces that Ryuji Akiba, a director of TIGEREYE, will speak at “Future of Insurance Agencies,” a conference focused on insurance distribution channels, to be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025.
The conference is organized by the GuardTech Study Community, which aims to promote the adoption of open APIs and collaboration and co-creation in the insurance industry, together with Inswatch Ltd., which operates an insurance industry information platform. Under the theme of fusing cutting-edge technology and business across industry boundaries, the event will discuss the future of insurance distribution from multiple perspectives.
At the event, TIGEREYE will present use cases of face recognition and biometric authentication based on its “TIGEREYE COMPUTER VISION FRAMEWORK” technology and speak about how AI can help improve operational efficiency and customer experience in insurance operations. Through TIGEREYE’s latest projects, which aim to balance security and convenience, it will also propose new forms of trust that technology can bring.
