(Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Toshihiko Shimamura; hereinafter “initialpoint”), which provides safe remote work environments with robust security using quarantine-type multi-factor authentication technology, and TIGEREYE Inc. (Headquarters: Harumi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Gaku Kamimura; hereinafter “TIGEREYE”), which offers AI technology and biometric solutions, announced that they have signed an agency agreement.
Background and purpose
With the spread of DX and remote work, building a structure that balances security and labor management has become an important management issue for companies. Through services such as “JinCreek,” a quarantine-type multi-factor authentication service for SIM-based closed networks and VPN environments, initialpoint has provided secure remote work environments for teleworking to a wide range of customers, from local governments, government agencies, medical institutions, and educational institutions to small and medium-sized businesses. TIGEREYE offers AI solutions that support companies’ human resource management, such as “KAOPASS Attendance” and “KAOPASS Stress Checker,” which use face recognition. Through this partnership, the two companies will build a comprehensive structure that supports companies, local governments, and government agencies through both personal authentication and generative AI–based management of each individual’s work, helping more employees and staff work safely, securely, and efficiently.
Solutions offered
The following cloud-based AI services provided by TIGEREYE will be proposed and sold through initialpoint.
- KAOPASS Attendance: A face recognition attendance management system that can be adopted without dedicated devices. Prevents clock-in errors and fraudulent clock-ins.
- KAOPASS Stress Checker: Captures facial emotion data at clock-in to visualize employees’ mental state.
- KAOPASS Key & Entry/Exit: A cloud-based, contactless entry and exit management system with authentication.
- AI Avatar / AI Agent: Next-generation conversational AI solutions that support internal and external conversations and customer service.
Future outlook
TIGEREYE and initialpoint will work to strengthen companies’ labor management and security by providing practical solutions that use AI and authentication technology. Going forward, the two companies plan to widely offer services such as face recognition attendance, stress checks, and entry and exit management, mainly to small and medium-sized businesses and regional companies, and to build a flexible support structure that allows adoption even without IT staff or dedicated personnel.
