TIGEREYE Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Gaku Kamimura; hereinafter “TIGEREYE”) has signed an agency agreement with TECO Design Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Shin Sugino; hereinafter “TECO Design”), which supports the use and adoption of systems in the HR and labor management field. Under the agreement, TECO Design will expand sales of “KAOPASS Attendance & KAOPASS Stress Checker,” which makes it possible to make human resources more efficient in an objective way.
Background of the partnership
As cloud systems for attendance management and other HR and labor tasks have spread, TECO Design has received many requests for help in “making human resources more efficient” from the companies it supports with adoption.
TIGEREYE’s “KAOPASS Attendance & KAOPASS Stress Checker” enables clock-in and health management through face recognition, and can also connect with cloud attendance systems through API integration. Because it can also connect with the attendance management systems TECO Design already handles, for example through CSV integration, the two companies decided to sign an agency agreement.
What is “KAOPASS Attendance & KAOPASS Stress Checker”?
“KAOPASS Attendance,” developed in-house by TIGEREYE, is a next-generation face recognition system with the following features:
- It can be used immediately in a browser on a PC, tablet, or smartphone, with no dependence on dedicated devices.
- As a cloud service, it requires no software or smartphone app installation.
- The smartphone’s GPS function lets you check where field staff clock in.
In addition, “KAOPASS Stress Checker” can:
- Read emotions when users are recognized by face and generate a daily emotion graph
- Use the emotion graph data to respond early to employees who need mental health support
Future outlook
Drawing on their know-how in operations design and IT adoption in the HR and labor management field, TECO Design and TIGEREYE will strengthen their support for companies’ back offices. By expanding sales of TIGEREYE’s “KAOPASS Attendance + KAOPASS Stress Checker,” they will provide broad operational support covering attendance, payroll, HR and labor management, talent management, and task management related to back-office work, helping companies build structures that let them focus on their core business.
