TIGEREYE Establishes Joint Venture DragonEye Inc. with Merchant Bankers Co., Ltd. - Launching a Next-Generation AI Video Production Business Using AI Avatars, Generative AI, and Multimodal AI -
TIGEREYE Inc. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Gaku Kamimura; hereinafter "TIGEREYE") announces that it will establish DragonEye Inc., a joint venture with Merchant Bankers Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Masatoshi Takasaki), to operate an AI video production business.
DragonEye was established to combine TIGEREYE's AI and computer vision technologies with Merchant Bankers Co., Ltd.'s extensive expertise in sales, business development, and investment, with the aim of providing high-quality video production using generative AI and an AI video production platform.
Creating a New Standard for Video Production with AI Technology
In recent years, the rapid evolution of generative AI has dramatically expanded the possibilities of video production. At the same time, many challenges remain, including quality stability, production speed, production cost, and continuous content operations.
DragonEye will use the "TIGEREYE Multi Modal AI Framework" developed by TIGEREYE as its core technology. By leveraging multimodal AI that integrally processes images, video, audio, and text, as well as AI avatars, generative AI, voice AI, and conversational AI, DragonEye will provide next-generation AI video production services covering the entire process from planning and composition to video generation, narration, and editing.
In addition, by continuously testing and evaluating multiple video generation AI models and building a proprietary production pipeline that selects the optimal AI technology for each project, DragonEye aims to establish a new video production model that delivers high quality, short turnaround times, and low cost.
Building an AI Video Production Platform
In addition to commissioned AI video production, DragonEye will continue verification and basic research on video generation models and use those insights to build an AI video production platform.
The platform will support a wide range of corporate video needs, including corporate PR, product introductions, TV commercials, web commercials, corporate videos, recruitment videos, social media content, and multilingual videos. Through new AI-powered video production workflows, DragonEye will contribute to corporate digital transformation and more advanced communication.
First Initiative
As its first project, DragonEye will begin an AI character and AI video production project for "Merchantman."
The project will use TIGEREYE's "TIGEREYE Multi Modal AI Framework" and conversational AI avatar technology to evolve Merchantman into an AI character capable of presentations, product explanations, narration, multilingual support, and more.
In addition to appearing in videos, Merchantman will be used as a conversational AI avatar that companies can utilize 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. By combining this with the video production know-how and AI technologies TIGEREYE has developed through its original AI video IP "SAPPHIRE RE:CODE," DragonEye aims to provide high-quality AI video production services designed for commercial use.
