KOKUYO and TIGEREYE File Joint Patent Application

OFFICE AGENTIC AI That Drives Behavioral Change

—A new office model where people and AI collaborate

KOKUYO Co., Ltd. (Head office: Osaka City / President and CEO: Hidekuni Kuroda) and TIGEREYE Inc. (Head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo / President and CEO: Gaku Kamimura) have filed a joint patent application for “OFFICE AGENTIC AI” technology aimed at behavioral change and higher intellectual productivity in office environments.

TIGEREYE and KOKUYO joint patent application

This technology is an agentic AI platform that learns individual behavioral data and evolves the relationship between people and space through dialogue, evaluation, and optimization.

“OFFICE AGENTIC AI” is the result of joint research that combines TIGEREYE’s multimodal AI framework with KOKUYO’s office philosophy for an “Autonomous Collaborative Society.”

At the core of this technology is the use of a structured protocol (MCP) to manage interactions among AIs and humans, vectorizing conversation content, intent, and contextual information into “affinity vectors” that are learned and updated.
This enables AI to autonomously determine how, with whom, and for what purpose it should collaborate, providing optimal support tailored to office environments and individual work styles.

TIGEREYE and KOKUYO joint patent application flow

In addition, TIGEREYE’s three-layer architecture—Talk, Judge, and Match—is adopted:

  • - Talk layer: generates dialogue with users and AI
  • - Judge layer: scores and evaluates dialogue content
  • - Match layer: selects optimal agents and personnel

Through this mechanism, AI in the office learns autonomously and optimizes spaces and human behavior in real time.

This architecture goes beyond a conventional AI assistant and provides the technical foundation for “an office that thinks and proposes.”

By anonymizing and analyzing employee behavior patterns, meeting data, and communication histories, the system can propose optimal seating arrangements, meeting times, and team compositions.

Key Technical Points

: Multidimensional meta-information exchange via MCP (Model Context Protocol)
: Multidimensional evaluation of AI responses using scoring vectors
: Optimal agent and personnel matching with affinity vectors
: Dynamic learning of history, results, and behavior using a graph database (GraphDB)
: Autonomous control architecture with three layers (Talk / Judge / Match)

Comment from KOKUYO Co., Ltd.

“We aim to evolve workplaces from a mere ‘place’ into an ‘agent that changes behavior.’ Our collaboration with TIGEREYE is a first step toward realizing future workplaces where offices learn on their own and draw out human creativity through AI.”

Comment from TIGEREYE Inc.

“Rather than simply responding, agentic AI that thinks, evaluates, and guides actions autonomously is the next generation of intelligent infrastructure. By combining KOKUYO’s spatial design philosophy with our AI control technology, we aim to create an office that becomes an evolving intellectual ecosystem.”

Future Developments

Based on this technology, both companies will proceed with implementation as “OFFICE OS” and “OFFICE AGENT” and begin proof-of-concept trials in areas such as meeting room reservations, attendance, information sharing, and well-being measurement. Ultimately, the goal is to realize a platform where AI understands each employee’s behavior, emotions, and objectives, evolving the way people work.
