TIGEREYE Signs Service Development Partner Agreement with KOKUYO in the AI and Robotics Domain

TIGEREYE Inc. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Gaku Kamimura; hereinafter "TIGEREYE") has signed a service development partner agreement with KOKUYO Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka; President: Hidekuni Kuroda; hereinafter "KOKUYO") in the AI and robotics domain. As the first joint product under this agreement, a reception AI solution for the humanoid robot "Pepper+" provided by SoftBank Robotics Corp. will go on sale on Monday, February 02, 2026.
Solution Overview
This solution combines TIGEREYE’s biometric authentication solution "KAOPASS Family" with KOKUYO’s long-standing expertise in office environment design and workstyle improvement to realize a next-generation smart office reception and access control solution. A demo is currently on display at "KOKUYO OPEN LAB." within KOKUYO’s Tokyo Shinagawa office "THE CAMPUS," a future workstyle experimentation hub.
Reception AI Solution for "Pepper+"
In this solution, "Pepper+" installed at company entrances recognizes the faces of visitors and employees and performs guidance and reception based on the authentication results. In addition to smooth entry/exit management without employee cards or physical keys, natural dialogue unique to robots delivers a new reception experience for visitors. TIGEREYE will continue promoting practical AI deployments in robotics by leveraging its proprietary multimodal AI foundation that integrates AI, computer vision, and dialogue technologies.

"KAOPASS Family" is TIGEREYE’s proprietary biometric authentication solution powered by in-house AI. It is characterized by no app, no dedicated device, and no card, enabling real-time face recognition in a browser. Multiple AI models can run in parallel to perform face recognition along with age estimation and emotion recognition.
It can be used on smartphones and tablets without dedicated devices or IC cards, enabling low-cost, rapid deployment. It supports a wide range of uses such as attendance logging, access control, reception, and site entry management, and can flexibly integrate with existing attendance systems and business SaaS. APIs are also available for embedding into external services and OEM deployment. TIGEREYE MultiModal AI PF
A platform that generates AI-driven conversations using the "Context-Adaptive AI Avatar/Chatbot." This technology dynamically adjusts chatbot responses using LLMs by analyzing facial expressions and automatically judging dialogue flow to enable intentional conversations. It can be applied across sales, customer support, education, healthcare, and robot interfaces.
